Reflecting on Nursing Home Week at MediLodge of Howell!

The reason we chose MediLodge of Howell is because they helped us through the process from the first referral from the hospital and we felt welcomed from the get-go. Lisa, Kathy, Jennifers (Rose), Dan and Darren (Daisy), Tika, (CNA Aide), Leilini, Kate, Stacie, Joey, Natasha, Wendy, Maria (Housekeeping) were all team members that stood out during my aunt’s stay. Everyone went above and beyond with kindness and compassion for our aunt.

I give Howell five stars! Especially, Ken he was the best he was very polite and respectful.

I was here last year and it was a great stay! Everyone is great here, especially Shelena. Therapy has done wonders for me and admissions is always visiting. Great team and staff---I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

I am on an AVAP and MediLodge of Howell was the only place who took them. The specific team member that stood out was Wendy in Housekeeping! She goes above and beyond to be sure everyone has everything they need.

When I first got here after having my second below-knee amputation, I was nervous. I was also thinking about what was in store for me. Then when I woke up, I was really uneasy, so I stayed in bed all day. That next day, I was prepared for therapy, and I had also set a goal to be out of here by Christmas. Then even though I thought I was ready, m mom intervened, so I wasn’t going home until New Year Day. For me, (I thought) being a double amputee was going to be a piece of cake, but I was wrong. I didn't know there were 3 different kinds of therapy that I would have to do, and it was harder than the first amputation. Now that I'm getting to go home, I see why I had stayed. I give a big thank you to Kathy, Mo, Terry, and Jen for all of their support and encouragement.

I want to thank Natasha and the staff so much for everything you did for my Mom, Jil. Everyone went above and beyond. Especially Natasha taking my calls on the weekend. Everyone was there in our time of need. You helped us so much when we needed someone to guide us. We didn't know what to do next with decisions in the medical field and you made everything go so smoothly. We will forever be thankful for YOU. My Mom is doing much better after her two week stay.  

Dear MediLodge, Where do I begin? First I need to say thank you to Natasha Cook for all the hard work she did. If it wasn't for her, our father would still be in Detroit sleeping in a broken bed, and not being cared for! The day I called Natasha I was completely grief stricken. She showed me so much compassion! We as a family didn't know where to turn. His health care providers let him down, failed him! Natasha recognized the fact that he was just a little old man that needed someone to give him a chance. We as a family owe her so much gratitude! MediLodge has changed our lives. We can now enjoy our dad. The care, and compassion that our father has been given by the MediLodge staff has been life changing for him!!! I can't even imagine what would be going on in our lives today if it was for MediLodge giving him the opportunity to live there. MediLodge has given us as a family a chance to heal! My family chose MediLodge of Howell for my grandmother, Loretta Sparks, and I was so happy they did! Jody and Natasha are specific team members that stood out because they are so friendly and caring! I met them at the Pink Party and they stood out to me because of their hard work. My great grandmother was a patient at this facility and the staff are outstanding! They are so catering and accommodating and so nice! The staff at the Pink Party in Howell were super fun and friendly! I would recommend this center to anyone!

I want to say that I am very happy with Medilodge of Howell. Natasha really made things happen for my Father. He was at a facility in Detroit. The conditions of the facility was poor. He was sleeping in a broken bed. He lost a lot of weight, because they feed him very little. Natasha really fought for him, without her I don't believe we would have been able to move him at all. I am so grateful for all she has done for my Father and family. My life is better because of her help. We seriously needed to find long term care for him Close to home. Natasha was our families’ champion she fought for him and believed in him and our family. Natasha and Medilodge Of Howell really helped getting him what he needed.
